Where do I turn next for help with a child diagnosed with Non verbal learning disorder?
sunnypearlrose asked:
My daughter who is 9, was just diagnosed with a non verbal learning disorder. I’ve been reading about it online but I need to find a therapist or someone who can help her and me with understanding it and coping with it.

Has anyone, who is been through it, know where I can turn?
How should I support my advanced child’s learning?
Violet asked:
I have 2 children and they are both quite a bit more advanced than their classes. I think the school tested my oldest (9 yrs. old) to see if she was gifted but she isn’t. Regardless she is board in school. What should I do to support them. One is a kindergartner and the other is in 4th grade.

How can I know my child’s learning style?
There she is!!! asked:
If I’m to pick the right curriculum that fits my childs learning style how will I know? She’s only 3 so she really only has a playing style right now. Although she is very smart. What are some things I might do to find how she’s most comfortable learning? I definately don’t want to make her sit down with worksheets at 3 years old! But if playing educational games is too unstructured for her, I’m scared I’m going to choose the wrong one. Any tips are helpful-thanks
